BREAK

The year starts with many enquiries to us, usually with the tag line that January represents being Dry. A word I cannot ever get my head around in terms of being well and liberated, it just describes boring and wizened to me. Abundant, vital and engaged would be way more appropriate to describe my clients.

But I do understand the desire to just have a temporary clean out, and of course when the month is over, be convinced that if this con artist in a bottle can be resisted for four weeks, then there isn’t much of a problem. So historically January is like a limbo month, hanging on.

However some clients are courageous to start at possibly one of the most booze fest times of the year, December, and I am very glad to say, that this is the latest news from one who has just finished, ready for a full life, without any kind of resentment or wistfulness of what once used to be, just a need to be the best she can be.

Well done Chris, and here is to a new beginning for so many other women who are brave enough to come out of the wine cellar or the vodka vault and for the first time for a long time realise that they are worth far more than the promise made from a well marketed potentially life limiting drug dressed up in a pretty bottle.

“At last I found Sarah she understands beyond words because she’s been there. She cares and her expertise, knowledge and passion has helped me to live a life beyond reaching for the bottle. Sarah believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself. I am 55 years old and have been in a bad relationship with alcohol since a teenager and now I am a non-drinker and life is truly wonderful.’
