The Sanctuary is now building a formidable network of women, and in turn they will undoubtedly change attitudes towards how to treat alcohol dependence, and not before time! We were never powerless just far too scared to address the problem because of the dreadful labelling and stigma that surrounds this, in 2016 more and more women are going to see that they can take control without beating themselves up about what once was.
